Lighting Controls

Lighting controls regulate lighting functionality, turning lights off when unnecessary or adjusting their brightness as needed. Paired with contemporary LED lighting, these controls can substantially decrease energy usage, extend luminaire lifespan, regulate expenses while providing a comfortable and efficient mood setting.

MDSS7S SmartSensor DALI Sensor

Our MDSS7S SmartSensor has been developed to provide a cost effective DALI sensor with a wide range of functions, coupled with a high level of performance.

Housed in a compact moulded enclosure, SmartSensor can operate as part of a managed DALI lighting network, or function as a versatile stand-alone sensor with extensive control capability.

As a stand-alone sensor, the unit is configured using a simple, user-friendly infra-red remote control, with coloured LEDs on the sensor providing feedback for all commands.

As part of a networked system, the sensor settings are managed by a DALI area controller.

DALI 64 Gateway

The Metway DALI gateway provides an interface between DALI lighting products and our addressable control system. The module acts as a fully functional DALI addressable product with 64 individually programmable addresses. Each address can be a DALI luminaire, emergency inverter, PIR sensor, controlled relay or scene set plate.

The DALI64 is DIN rail mounted and enclosed in a steel powder coated enclosure wired to industry standard terminals.

Twin DALI64 units (i.e with 128 addresses) is also available.

A removeable memory module facilitates fast configuration of a replacement gateway should that be needed. In other words, should an gateway need to be replaced for any reason, no reprogramming is necessary, simply remove the memory module and reinsert it into the new controller.

MA-CANPIR Infra-red...

The Metway MA-CANPIR passive infra red detector is an addressable sensor for use with the MA addressable range of LCM's and gateways. It detects movement using a PIR sensor, which updates the light controller using a CAN bus interface.

Daylight linking can be configured either to keep lights off when there is sufficient ambient light, or used as part of a closed loop to maintain a pre-set luminance level in a dimmable system.

Connection is made by RJ12 connectors on the back of the unit, there are two of these to allow easy onward connection.

Classic Latching Leads

Our classic latching lead, can be used in a variety of LCM's (For example: Phillips Dynalite). They are supplied with a 6-pole centre latching plug, to a free end using 1.00mm² LS0H cable. This can be supplied in a variety of cores, and lengths as per your requirements.

These are supplied with a black/blue industry standard, connector coding. Alternatively there is an option for black/grey connectors.

MA-DALIPIR Infra-Red...

The Metway MA-DALIPIR passive infra red detector is an addressable sensor for use with the MA addressable range of LCM's and gateways. It detects movement using a PIR sensor, which updates the light controller using a DALI interface.

Daylight linking can be configured either to keep lights off when there is sufficient ambient light, or used as part of a closed loop to maintain a pre-set luminance level in a dimmable system.

The walk-test mode, indicated by a built-in LED, helps when configuring the detector. The MA-DALIPIR is connected via a screw terminal on the rear in a standard DALI two wire configuration, powered from the data line.

Classic Box Leads

Our classic non-latching box lead, can be used in a variety of LCM's (For example: Delmatic, Ex-Or). They are supplied with a 6-pole centre latching plug, to a free end using 1.00mm² LS0H cable. This can be supplied in a variety of cores, and lengths as per your requirements.

These are supplied with a black/grey industry standard, connector coding. Alternatively there is an option for black/blue connectors.

Ensto Leads

Metway can provide leads for other manufacturers lcms, such as Ensto.

The LCM lead is supplied with a 6-pole latching plug, to a free end on 1.00mm² LS0H cable.

This can be supplied in a variety of cores, and length as per your requirements.

These are provided with a blue/white industry standard connector coding.

Ex-Or Leads

Metway can provide leads for other manufacturers lcms, such as Ex-Or.

The LCM lead is supplied with a 6-pole latching plug, to a free end on 1.00mm² LS0H cable.

This can be supplied in a variety of cores, and length as per your requirements.

These are provided with a black/grey industry standard connector coding.

CP LCM Leads

Metway can provide leads for other manufacturers lcms, such as CP Electronics.

The LCM lead is supplied with a 6-pole latching plug, to a free end on 1.00mm² LS0H cable.

This can be supplied in a variety of cores, and length as per your requirements.

These are provided with a black/blue industry standard connector coding.

Klik LCM Leads

Metway can provide leads for other manufacturers lcms, such as Hager Klik.

The LCM lead is supplied with a 6-pole latching plug, to a free end on 1.00mm² LS0H cable.

This can be supplied in a variety of cores, and length as per your requirements.

PIRSW Switching PIR Sensor

The PIRSW is a 360° switching PIR sensor. Designed with a low profile for aesthetically demanding architectural projects providing a high quality sensor for simple on / off occupancy control or providing semi-automatic (absence detection) control.

An intelligent photocell is also included to prevent switching of the lights when natural daylight is available Set-up of the sensor is carried out using a remote control handset with program memory allowing one-key commissioning where common settings are used for multiple devices.

MMSW Switching Microwave...

The MMSW is a 360° switching microwave sensor. Designed with a low profile for aesthetically demanding architectural projects providing a high quality sensor for simple on / off occupancy control or providing semi-automatic (absence detection) control.

An intelligent photocell is also included to prevent switching of the lights when natural daylight is available. Set-up of the sensor is carried out using a remote control handset with program memory allowing one-key commissioning where common settings are used for multiple devices.
